Presentation:

The journal REPTE (journal of psychology teaching: theory and experiences) is a journal aiming at creating a discussion form where authors can investigate, analyse, and reflect about the psychological contents that are thought in different contexts and at different educational levels, their theoretical foundation, the innovative experiences and teaching methodologies, as well as research works about teaching and disseminating psychology. Until 2015 REPTE has published one volume every year. Nowadays, the articles are published immediately after they are accepted.

Psychology creates a lot of interest in society, as it can be seen in the number of people studying psychology at university, and the increasing number of books, journals, TV and radio programs related to the teaching and dissemination of psycholoical knowledge.

However, there is a lack of debate about the contents and methods that are used in the teaching ofpsychology. For example, which contents of psychology should lear the students of social education or nursery studies? Which are the standards of the psychology teaching in secondary education? Which new materials and methods have been created to teach psychology? What is the role of the professional associations in the teaching and dissemination of psychological knowledge? This and many other questions related to how psychology is and should be taught and learned deserve a place to be discussed through the analyses of ideas, research, and sharing experiences, which is what REPTE intends to be.

REPTE is not however a journal about general learning processes. Therefore, those manuscripts which are not focused in the teaching and learning of psychology will not be accepted.

Openness. REPTE is addressed to a wide range of public: university professors, secondary eduaction professors, professionals of psychology, people with academic responsibilities in the studies of psychology, students of psychology, and in general, people interested in how to teach and learn psychology. Therefore, anyone wishing to publish in this journal should take that into consideration and using a clear language and a style that can be accessible to this wide range of peope, so whenever unusual concepts are used, tehy should be described.
